El Medano is a worldwide famous spot for surf & kikesurf. Many schools can rent wind-surf or kite surf or you can also rent a mountain bike or practice diving and not only.

In El Medano you can find several beaches, the main one, 3 minutes walk away, is the one at the centre of the town where you will also find plenty of bars & restaurants. La Tejita, the biggest natural beach of the island, is reachable walking (very nice walk) and has a small hidden nudist area.

The house in only one block away from a commercial centre, where you can find a supermarket, bank, restaurant, bar, many other shops.

The house, located in a very quiet residence with swimming pool, is ideal for a family of 4 adults with up to 4 children or to share with friends 6 adults as the 3 bedrooms have their own private bathroom!  It is fully equipped and furnished even for babies and young children with two baby beds and high table chairs, and a lot of table games or outside games (including body boards).

EL Medano is ideal place to reach any point of the island. It is 15 minutes drive away from the South (Los Cristianos & Las Americas), 35 minutes away from the capital Santa Cruz. Close (5 minutes drive) you can find Los Abrigos, famous fish port, plenty of nice fish restaurants. The rent of a car is in El Medano, inexpensive (120 euros per week for a Saxo type car – price September 2011)

The house is new (was built in 2005), in really good state. There are 3 terraces for you to relax and enjoy the sun, one where you can organise nice barbecues. 

DESCRIPTION OF THE HOUSE

The house is a twin house of 125 m2 , 95 m2 of house rented (garage under the house is not rented) plus 35m2 of terraces located in a Residence named MedanoMar in the entrance of the village of El Medano. Close to the residence will be found a commercial centre (supermarket, bank, restaurant, bar, bazaar at about 150 m) and the beach and the village centre at about 350 m. The house can receive up to 7 adults + one child + 2 babies as followed: 

a.     Floor 0: living room with a big TV, DVD & video lectors, wooden table, sofa, 2 arm-chairs, wooden & stone sofa table, one small table (round), little wooden phone table with door, a HI-FI with 2 speakers & the auxiliary cable to connect your laptop to the HI-FI, a CD’S display with some CD’s, a big wooden closet, where are the cleaning tools, umbrellas and mattress for the sun beds, a big wooden coffer where you can find some table games, books and DVD’S – Toilets – Totally equipped kitchen: table, “no-frost” fridge & freezer, induction cooker, oven, microwave oven, washing machine, dish-washer, electrical coffee machine, electrical kettle, Raclette machine, toaster, electrical squeezer, electrical mixer, wooden buffet, cupboards, all the plates, glasses, tableware, 4 frying pans, and all the necessary for cooking. 1 terrace swimming pool side with 4 sun beds, 7 plastic chairs and one plastic table. – 1 terrace on the kitchen side with a BBQ, wooden table, hanger. Marble stairs to the 1^st floor.

b.    Floor 1: 1 ensuite bedroom swimming pool side, with sherry double bed, side tables, 1 chair, one closet, one desk, one lamp, TV. Complete bathroom with a bath tap. – 1 ensuite navy bedroom with one double bed, lamp, TV, big wooden wardrobe, wooden & stone table, one small table (round). Complete bathroom, with shower. Stairs to the 3^rd floor are in wood.

c.     Floor 2: 1 room with a double sofa-bed, a little table, a small bathroom under the roof complete with shower (curtain). Extensible child bed (130-200 x 80). Another bed available under request. Private solarium.

d.    The garage IS NOT INCLUDED in the rent and is inaccessible for the guests.

The residence has got a garden & a swimming pool open all year long. Two baby’s beds and many equipments for children are available too. Ask for more details if you have children. Wifi available for extra charge.
